Anyone around during the Red Fisher era in the 1990s probably has a few stories about seeing the band live. From crammed basement shows on McMillian to raucous events at Le Rendez-Vous, the group defined a moment in time of the prairie music scene.
Red Fisher’s debut album, Catch and Release, was ubiquitous in the underground music community.
The group would release a CD on G7 Welcoming Committee in 1995, with singer/guitarist John Stewart going on to form Mico, while drummer Jason Tate got behind the kit for The Weakerthans.
